What is Flex Cell?

Flex Cell is a Gantry or Cartesian style Robotic Workcell that applies XYZ motion to achieve unbound uses in manufacturing.

The following are potential applications for Flex Cell but not limited to:

  • Anti Glare (AG) Coating
  • Anti Fingerprint (AFP) Coating

  • Plasma Treatment
  • Jetting
  • Sodder Paste Dispensing or Jetting

 

If precision requirements are less than .03mm 30 micons, the machine can be build with just belt drive to save on cost. If higher precision is required ball screw can be added. In any event we apply servo motors and servo drivers for precise motion of XYZ axis and always use encoders to close the loop.
